ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE WTC FROM OCTOBER 23 THROUGH OCTOBER 27 ON A LIMITED BASIS.

What the registration fees include
Organising a large international conference, such as the Cochrane Colloquium, is expensive, and the registration fees reflect this. However, you get a lot for your money in this case! Here is what the fees include
:

Full registration
Early, full, developing countries, consumer, Latin America & Caribbean, and sponsored Brazilian health professional registration all include:
- access to all plenary sessions, parallel sessions, poster presentations, workshops and meeting rooms;
- conference materials;
- refreshments and lunches on all four days and 'Breakfast with the entities' on Wednesday morning;
- the soccer tournament and the Latin American dance class on Thursday afternoon;
- the farewell party on Friday evening.

Single day registration
This includes:
- access to all sessions, presentations and workshops on the day of registration;
- refreshments and lunch on the day of registration;
- the soccer tournament and the Latin American dance class on Thursday afternoon;
- day registrants for two days are invited to attend the welcome reception on Tuesday evening.

The farewell party on Friday evening is for full registration participants only.

Additional tickets for the farewell party can be purchased at the time of registration or by contacting the Colloquium Secretariat.

Accompanying person registration
This includes:
- welcome cocktail;
- farewell party;
- the soccer tournament and the Latin American dance class on Thursday afternoon;
- acess to the event's common areas (exhibits and posters).

How to register
Online registration can be made via the Colloquium website until 15 October 2007. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted, and the transaction will appear on your profile in you personal Colloquium space on the Colloquium website.

A printable version of the registration form will also be available by contacting the Colloquium Secretariat. Completed registration forms should be accompanied by payment and sent to the Colloquium Secretariat.

Participants with special needs are asked to contact the Colloquium Secretariat before registering for the Colloquium.

Cancellation deadline and refunds
Registration cancellations must be sent in writing to the Colloquium Secretariat. Cancellations received by 3 September 2007 will receive a refund of the registration fee, minus a US$100 administration charge. These refunds will be processed within three months of the close of the Colloquium. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received after 3 September 2007.

Consumer stipends
A limited number of stipends will be available to enable consumers to participate in the Colloquium. Health consumer advocates and people living with or affected by disease or health concerns, who are not currently employed as healthcare professionals in that healthcare field, have been encouraged to apply for a consumer stipend. Detailed information about the application process was made available on the Colloquium website; however, the deadline for applying for a consumer stipend is now past (25 June 2007).

Developing country stipends

A limited number of stipends will be available to enable contributors to The Cochrane Collaboration from low- or middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank - see
www.worldbank.org/data/countryclassgroups.htm) to participate in the Colloquium. Detailed information about the application process was made available on the Colloquium website; however, the deadline for applying for a developing country stipend is now past (25 June 2007).
